We approach each project with curiosity and excitement, embracing the unpredictability that comes with making. Precision matters, but so does play. We design at the intersection of human and machine, bringing robotic accuracy together with human sensibility and judgment.

Our work moves fluidly across multiple scales. Digital models become toolpaths, and toolpaths become physical components, but the process never feels automated. We remain deeply involved throughout the life of each project, allowing us to respond as work takes shape: fine-tuning fits on site, adapting to real-world conditions, and evolving designs as opportunities reveal themselves.

We believe the built environment is a place for creative exploration, and that the act of building should be engaging, collaborative, and enjoyable. At d2b design, craft and experimentation go hand in hand.

Our array of machines and tools allows us to engage with every element of even the most complex projects. From robotic carving and CNC routing to metal fabrication, casting, and custom assembly, each tool extends our ability to translate geometry into material.

Each machine has its own character and strengths, and we think of them as part of the team. By understanding their capabilities we are able to move seamlessly between digital precision and hands-on craft, selecting the right process for each moment in a project’s evolution.
