This project features an installation of d2b Design’s translucent wood light panel system. The panels are faced with a thin wood veneer that appears as a solid finished surface when unlit, and softly illuminates through the veneer when activated.

The system produces a warm, even white light for architectural illumination and can be tuned across the full RGB spectrum using custom controls. Advanced modes allow the panels to respond to sound or video input, transforming the surface into a dynamic media element when desired. This installation consists of over 1,000 unique panels, generated using custom software and fabricated and veneered in house.

The panel system is designed as a repeatable product adaptable to a wide range of architectural applications.
