sculpted wood panels
This project consists of sculpted wood panels produced through robotic carving. Inspired by erosion patterns found in the slot canyons of Utah, the panels are designed to express movement across the surface, capturing depth, rhythm, and variation through material.
A tight relationship between geometry and fabrication is central to the work, with the fluid motions of the robotic arm remaining legible in the finished surface. The panels are available as individual art pieces, and the process can be tailored to a wide range of architectural and interior applications.
The robotic carving process is inherently flexible and can be adapted to suit specific architectural and interior conditions
